Kindervereinigung Dresden e.V.

Kindervereinigung Dresden e.V. is an accredited private non-governmental and non-profit organization for youth welfare services. Since 1990 we have been working with and for children and young people to advance their personality, to publicize, to represent and to fulfill their interests. Our organization comes with different accommodations and facilities to take care of the certain needs of children and young people and to optimize the result of the particular areas of children and youth work. Kindervereinigung Dresden e.V. runs five own kindergartens (some of them with Reggio pedagogy), an own children and youth circus, offers with "ferientouren.de" different journeys like holiday camps, group and school trips with qualified guidance, supports parents with daycare features, owns three social living flats, manages an academy containing seminar and workshop offers and an Institute for Early Childhood Education. Furthermore there are offers for open children and youth work in several institutions that are offered to youngsters of every age. Inside those four facilities assistance includes open offers (games, PC courses, support of children and young people with the realization of their own projects, children and youth circus). The specific part "International" is responsible for exchange programs for children and youths, to develop intercultural competence, reduce prejudices and encourage a cosmopolitan character. Our "Haus Grillensee" as a leisure and education center completes our offers for children, youth groups and adults. Prospective international groups of apprentices from European member states are given the possibility to graduate in specific parts of their professional training. True to the slogan "Every Child is a Piece of the Future" our activities are realized by around 300 full-time and volunteer workers throughout the sections.
